Webinar on “Application of Durable Concrete”

A webinar on the topic ‘Application of Durable Concrete’ was organized by Department of Civil Engineering associated with Ultra Tech Pvt. Ltd on 27th May 2020 in online mode. Er. K. Pandian, Quality Control Head, Ultra Tech RMC, Tamilnadu and Kerala were the resource person. The Vice Principal Mr. B. Magesh gave the welcome address and Ms. G. Karthika, Event convener, introduced the resource person to the audience. Around 190 + participants from various institution and industries were attended the Event. The resource person gave a one and half an hour presentation on the introduction of the new construction materials in current scenario, its significance, and their applications. He also touched upon practical based technical learning. There was an interactive question and answer session following the presentation and the event came to an end with the proposal of vote of thanks by Ms. S. Sathya Priya, student coordinator.
