PERI SPLASH 2020

“Art is an effort to create, beside the real world, a more humane world. In college fest some capture memories and some make memories”

The staffs and students of PERI COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE organised 1st Cultural Event PERI SPLASH 2020 on 8th January 2020 @ PERI knowledge park in a grand manner. The chief guest for this grand event is VIJAY TV fame kalaka povathu yaaru Mr. PALANI.

The programme started with Tamil thaai vazthu followed by lamp lighting ceremony by the chief guest, PERI Arts Principal Dr.A Gunasekaran, PERI IT Principal, Dr. R. Palson Kennedy, and Dr. T. Seetharaman Assistant Professor Department of Tamil Mrs. R.M.Janani Assistant Professor Department of English, Cultural coordinator welcomed the gathering. Our principal felicitated the chief guest and PERI IT Principal. Dr.A.Kubendiran Associate Professor Department of Tamil felicitated our principal. Presidential address was given by Principal Dr.A Gunasekaran. PERI IT principal, Dr. Palson Kennedy gave the felicitation address. The chief guest was introduced by Dr.T.Seetharaman Assistant Professor Department of Tamil. The Chief Guest Mr. PALANI gave a comic speech with motivational thoughts for the students.

Students were offered with the chance to display their talents. Ms.Sujitha of BCA department had begun the event with her Welcome dance. The on stage events such as music and dance was held that was well received by the audience and appreciated by the chief guest. The Off stage events such as Fireless cooking, Mehandi, Carving and Painting without brush was held on 6th January 2020.

The chief guest distributed the prizes for the off stage and on stage winners. At last, the overall trophy was bagged by BCA department with the maximum number of prizes. Vote of thanks was delivered by cultural Co-coordinator Mrs. Sai Lakshmi Assistant professor Department of Math. The cultural fest came to an end with National Anthem. We hope that this support continues even further which will strengthen our college team to be the pinnacle of cultural events.
